You can use this configurator to create a simplified Home Assistant configuration for balancing your electricity measurement using a Shelly 3EM in conjunction with a photovoltaic system. All you need are the names of your devices that you use to measure electricity.
Please read this article first!
Shelly 3EM names of the three phases
Enter the names of the power entities (1-3) in the 3 input fields below. Important It must be the “Power” measurement, i.e. the current instantaneous display in the Shelly, measured in watts (not in kWh).
Add your photovoltaic producers
Add the measuring devices of your photovoltaic generators here. It must be the “Power” measurement, i.e. the current instantaneous display in the Shelly, measured in watts (not kWh). In my case, I use two Shelly Plug S for my balcony power plants. You can add as many devices as you like using the “Plus” button.
Last step: Create your configuration
Use the last button to create your configuration. Copy the text in the text field and append it to your “configuration.yaml”. Again, you must wait at least one hour until Home Assistant displays everything correctly.
